• Short string includes a swiveled finger loop so you never have to worry about your string twisting up.
• Long string does not come with a finger loop, but allows for a wider, more variable swinging circle.

MANUFACTURING TIME: 3-5 days

• Each wick is made from 7.5cm wide aramid tape which is rolled around the ends of the staff.
• Staves length: 1m
• Grip length: 30cm
• Drip catchers are placed on each end between the grip and the wick which helps absorb excess fuel before it reaches your grip.

We use black tennis overgrip which is acknowledged internationally as the best grip for staves and contact staves.

Please contact us if you would like to customise the specifications of your double staves in any way.

PLEASE NOTE:
It is not recommended to store a freshly used staff in its case for too long. The fuel fumes may get absorbed by the grip which will make it slippery and stretchy. If this does happen, leaving your staff out of its case for some time will dry out the grip. To avoid this, leave the staff out overnight after using it in order for the fuel to evaporate properly.

They are specifically made to fit over the wicks of our Protea Fire Fans in order to both protect the wicks and protect you from the black soot that comes from burning them.

We recommend you use a cooler burning fuel such as paraffin or biofuel on your Fire Palms. Using hotter fuels such as benzene can increase your risk of being burnt.
