This Practice Contact Staff is perfectly balanced for contact moves. It is designed to match our Fire Contact Staff so that you have the perfect practice prop to train with.

Tassels are an optional extra that will slow down the roll of a contact staff therefore making contact moves must easier.

Rubber ends come in various colours such as pink, blue and yellow

Gorgeously fluffy wick covers to keep your wicks safe and keep the soot contained. Elasticated for ease of use.

Leave a note on your order for which colour(s) you would like and the measurements of your wicks. See example images of how to take your wick measurements. If you are ordering a new fire toy from our store the wick dimensions will be in the product description. If you're not sure, give us a shout before placing your order.

Small: wick size of 50-60mm in length and 40-50mm in diameter
Medium: wick size of 60-75mm in length and 50-75mm in diameter
Large: wick size of 75-100mm and 60-75mm in diameter

Custom sizes are available on request - use our contact form to send us a message.

Care Instructions: Over time your covers will get dirty from your wicks. Hand wash with gentle detergent to get the worst stains off and then pop in the washing machine.

Kevlar Fire Wick

Sold by the metre or per roll, this flat Kevlar® webbing is excellent wick for making your own fire equipment. The wick does not contain any asbestos or metallic thread which makes for minimal skin irritation.

Our Kevlar wick is available in 2 different widths:

75mm wide x 3.2mm thick (sold by the metre)
50mm wide x 3.2mm thick (sold by the metre)
50mm wide x 3.2mm thick (sold in a 30m roll)

Levi Wands create an illusion that will keep both you and your audience in awe! Short for 'levitation', this prop is a beautiful combination of magic and flow.

Comment your preferred length of string when placing your order:

Short string includes a swiveled finger loop so you never have to worry about your string twisting up.
Long string does not come with a finger loop, but allows for a wider, more variable swinging circle.

Fire Devil Sticks

Devil Sticks, also known as Flower Sticks or Juggling Sticks, can be traced back 200 years to China where they were first made out of bamboo. The name comes from the Greek word 'devil' which means 'to throw across'.

Fire Double Staves – Twister Wicks

Double Staves are a pair of shorter fire staves that are sized for technical patterns and grid manipulations. Twister Wicks allow for longer burn times and bigger flames.

Small Wicks: 6cm
Large Wicks: 9cm

MANUFACTURING TIME: 2-4 days

PLEASE NOTE:
We recommend that you only use your fire staff when you are on fire and not to practice with. Rather use a practice staff to practice and make mistakes with OR cover your fire wicks with a few layers of old socks. This will help to extend the life of your staff’s wicks and keep your practice sessions clean and fuel-free.
