Fire Poi
FireTribe’s Fire poi are available in three different ‘weights’, so you are able to choose the one most suited to you.

When the poi are dry there is very little difference in the weight, it is only once you have soaked your poi in fuel does the difference in weight become apparent. The more wick you have, the more fuel (paraffin) your poi can hold and the more fuel your poi are holding the heavier they are and the bigger and longer lasting the flame is.
Each Poi are 63cm in length from handle to wick – if you wish to have them shorter, this is easily done buy adjusting the handle further down the chain.
The Fire poi come packaged in a very handy metal tin, which makes traveling and storing your poi nice and tidy and (mostly) odour free. The tin can also be used as a fueling station when you are playing but the lid is not water tight so it is not recommended to travel with fuel still in the tin.
Which weight to choose?
If you are feeling big and strong then go for the heavies – nice big flame and really long burning but they are heavy!
If you are undecided, then Mediums are probably for you and for those of you who still want to play with fire but you aren’t up for too much exertion, then get yourself a pair of Lightweights.
