Performance

FireTribe have been performing for 10 years now.

Back in the Golden Age of Fire Dancing in Cape Town we became a little (in)famous for our gatherings on Clifton 2nd Beach, which the 'powers that be' unfortunately outlawed due to management issues with regards to the huge crowds that attended.

We now regularly put on choreographed, costumed performances in venues like Grand West Casino, Groote Schuur (presidential residents), Cape Town Castle, Moyo – Spier, Cape Town Convention Centre and many Wine Farms, Hotels, Resorts and private residents in and around Cape Town. We have also done shows in JHB, Durban, East London, Mozambique and at Sun City.

Shows cater for birthdays, weddings, outdoor festivals, product launches, corporate functions - practically anything :)

We are the official Fire performers of EarthDance, Origin, Vortex, Alien Safari, Rocking the Daisies and Up the Creek, just to mention a few of the outdoor festivals.

A couple of celebrities worth mentioning that we have performed for over the years would be: Helen Zille, Lucas Radebe, Sol Kerzner, Richard Branson, Princess Fergie, John Cleese and the 2009 Miss World contestants.
We have appeared on Top Billing, had our own feature on Free Spirit and got cast in 'Doomsday' - an International Film shot in Cape Town. We have also appeared in a couple of TV commercials, most recently the MTN Fifa “Ayoba” campaign and we were also official Host City Performers at the Fan Walk and other Fan Parks in Cape Town during the recent World Cup.
